To SIA’s Family of Employees, Patients, Friends, and Followers:

So, the 2020 Holiday Season is now officially well underway.  I hope you and your families enjoyed a very safe and Happy Thanksgiving!  While we’re living in very interesting and challenging times, it is exceedingly important to never lose sight of those who matter most to us and who have profoundly impacted our lives.

As I mentioned in my last newsletter; every great business starts with an idea, a vision often triggered by a problem that requires a solution.  It then requires a commitment to a mission to effectively solve that problem and bring about something transformative.

However, inextricably linked to the idea, vision, solution and mission is a set of core values that enable each business to define their organizational soul and ensure a pathway to success.  To that end, SIA has recently created and adopted its “SIA CARES” set of core business values.  The first part (“SIA”) embodies the key values for our executive team, medical professionals, and administrative employees.  The second part (“CARES”) reflects SIA’s combined professional commitment to their patients.

“SIA CARES”

Our set of core business values

I. Synergistic.  The interaction or cooperation of two or more organizations, substances, or other agents to produce a combined effect greater than the sum of their separate effects.  Consistent with this notion that the whole is greater than the sum of its individual parts, SIA firmly believes that together everyone achieves more (“TEAM”).   Accordingly, SIA’s executive team and professional staff will always work together in a manner that seeks to leverage each other’s strengths in order to build a stealthy and formidable organization.

II. Innovative.  The introduction of new ideas and originality amongst creative thinking.  SIA will endeavor to always be at the cutting edge of the industry striving to be trailblazers and visionaries.  SIA will demonstrate the courage to lead rather than the cowardice to follow and conform.

III. AgileThe ability to move quickly and easily.  SIA will always be nimble and ready to adapt to market trends to stay well in front of its competition.  SIA will view change as an opportunity rather than a misfortune.

IV. Compassionate.  The act of suffering together.  It is defined as the feeling that arises when you are confronted with another's suffering and feel motivated to relieve that suffering.  SIA will always go above and beyond to help the physical, mental, and emotional feelings of their patients.

V. Attentiveness.  The action of assiduously attending to the comfort or wishes of others with politeness and courtesy.  SIA will always demonstrate the worth of a patient or task by giving their undivided attention and focus to such individual or circumstance to deliver an unparalleled patient experience.

VI. Reliability.  The quality of being trustworthy or of performing consistently well.  Stephen B. Shepard stated that “A great brand is a promise, a compact with a customer about quality, reliability, innovation, and even community.  And while the brand is intangible, brand equity is far from it.”  To that end, SIA will always endeavor to deliver consistent and impeccable service focused on true substance over form yielding value-based outcomes to each and every one of their patients.

VII. Empathy.  The action of understanding, being aware of, being sensitive to, and vicariously experiencing the feelings, thoughts, and experience of another of either the past or present without having the feelings, thoughts, and experience fully communicated in an objectively explicit manner.  SIA will always see with the eyes, feel with the hearts, and always listen with the ears of their patients.

VIII. Sincerity.  The quality of being free from pretense, deceit, or hypocrisy.  SIA will always express kindness wholeheartedly by speaking our words clearly and genuinely.  We will use our eyes, our voice, our body language, and our actions to reinforce the significance of our words.

As I mentioned in last month’s newsletter, SIA will deliver a “spa” like medical and wellness infusion experience.  SIA is truly a unique comprehensive healthcare solution and will be unparalleled in the industry where downtown Manhattan meets Boca Raton.  As part of its brand differentiation, SIA is designing its “Flagship” location to convey a feeling of a Tribeca loft.  Given that many residents of southeast Florida are transplants from New York, and many more are moving down with each passing day, we believe this theme will resonate with many of SIA’s patients and create a very inviting “cozy” familiar vibe.  This along with flawless execution and “high touch” service will create an unmistakable image and brand loyalty.  We look forward to the grand opening of SIA’s “Flagship” Boca location by month’s end.

As part of SIA’s further pursuit to create brand differentiation, SIA will appoint each treatment room and its main living room with Lampe Berger, formally known as Maison Berger, diffusers rather than the traditional candles.  Interestingly, this accessory sources from the medical and pharmaceutical industries and aligns very attractively with SIA’s mission.

Designed in 1898 to purify the air in hospitals, the small catalytic lamp created by pharmacy dispenser Maurice Berger, quickly became very popular with the public. Redesigned by famous designers and embraced by leading figures from the art community (Coco Chanel, Picasso, Colette and Jean Cocteau), it was then fitted with a perfuming function and gradually became a style icon, appreciated for its sleek design and its delicate fragrances.

The catalytic lamp is a functional and attractive accessory which has spanned the years, purifying indoor air while adding an elegant and contemporary touch to every home.  Lampe Berger is a catalytic burner that heats to burn an alcohol based liquid fuel.  The alcohol releases molecules into the air that eliminate odor causing bacteria while diffusing scent at the same time.  In view of this popularity, Maurice Berger’s successors decided to continue to embellish indoor air by developing new rituals with candles, scented bouquets and many more home accessories.

Maison Berger uses its expertise to strengthen your well-being, by taking care of indoor air. The products in each collection aim at pleasing both the body and mind.  This is just an additional measure that SIA will take to deliver the consummate “spa” like experience, while also endeavoring to maintain the most sanitary environment for our patients.

In closing, I wish our entire SIA family and you and your families a very Joyous Holiday Season and a Happy and Healthy New Year!!  I think we’re already to close the chapter on 2020 and usher in 2021.

SIA is very much looking forward to an exciting upcoming year and to servicing the Boca community and surrounding areas for all of their anti-aging, consulting, medical, pharmacy, and wellness needs.  So, please come visit us at our “Flagship” location in a COVID-19 safe manner in the upcoming weeks.

Sincerely,

Kevin Seltzer
